Top 5 2D Anime Games on Android in the US in Q2 2021

In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 2D anime games on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers a closer look at the trends for each game.

Hero Wars: Alliance by NEXTERS GLOBAL LTD saw significant fluctuations in revenue, peaking at around $1M in the first week of April. Weekly downloads for the game started strong at 28.3K and reached a high of 49.9K in early April before declining to about 25.3K by the end of June. Active users showed a slight decline from 73.5K at the start of the quarter to roughly 75.9K at the end.

Gacha Life from Lunime maintained a steady download rate, starting at 40.4K and ending around 39.3K downloads per week. However, active users saw a significant decline from approximately 4.1M to 1.6M over the quarter. Revenue remained modest, with a peak of $496 in the last week of March and tapering off to $159 by the end of June.

Gacha Club, another title from Lunime, did not generate any revenue during this period. Weekly downloads were stable, hovering around 33K to 36K. Active users started at 2.6M and showed a slight decline to 1.7M by the end of June.
